Activity 3: Working with Layered Maps
The map below is of Wacton in the sixteenth century. It is used on page 77 of the book Exploring the Norfolk Village.
Use the buttons to turn on and off the layers of the map. Does it contain too much or too little information? Do you agree with the organisation of the information on each layer? Can you design a simple map of your own locality in layers in your own computer software, so that you can overlay data?
